Background Paul Lewis Brighton Couples Relationship Counselling
I offer an Integrative Humanistic Counselling Service, both online and face to face. This means I offer a blend of counselling approaches to meet your individual needs, and I continue to incorporate other models as well. Above all else, I endeavour to offer you empathy, honesty, acceptance and respect.
I mainly refer to the Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Person-Centred models to help you work through your issues and concerns. I also incorporate Imago Relationship Therapy, and Psychotherapeutic approaches, particularly when working with couples.
I also offer some solution-focussed tools and techniques.

I continue to develop my knowledge and understanding by working as a tutor for counsellors at Diploma level. When it comes to counselling I believe that one approach does not fit all, because we each have unique personalities and needs. My aim is to understand your specific needs and tailor an approach that works for you.

With over 10 years of professional training and experience I have worked in various fields including alcohol and addiction issues, depression and anxiety, and sexual health and identity issues. I also understand the importance of considering each person as a unique individual. I work in an LGBTQ+ affirmative way, recognising that we are all fundamentally worthy.
